CSF specimens must be collected in
screw-top CSF collection tubes or plain red top tubes and delivered to the micro
lab room# 2-109. CSF specimens must have the appropriate specimen tube labeled
on the outside of each tube and on each individual requisition (i.e. tube# 1,
tube# 2, etc.). Specimens delivered in syringes are unacceptable and will need
to be transferred to the correct container by a person from the collection site. |
