REQUISITION AND ORDER/ENTRY INFORMATION for SPECIAL COAGULATION LAB

All Special Coagulation Tests are available on the UCSD PCIS
 Order/Entry System.
    1) Using the PCIS main menu, use the mr# or pt# and select "04" for order/charge functions, .
    2) The patient demographics will be displayed, .
    3) Use the line number reflecting the appropriate active pt#.
    4) Order/charge processing functions will be displayed.
    5) Under order functions, select "01" enter order .
    6) On order display, enter physician's pin number, and key in "08" hematology/coagulation or "01" common
    procedures across all labs, .
    7) Select the appropriate procedure you wish to order.
