MEDICAL STAFF ON-LINE APPLICATION PROCESS

STEP 1:  CALL THE DEPARTMENT CONTACT TO START THE APPLICATION PROCESS

MSONet is a web-based portal that allows medical staff practitioners to complete initial appointment and reappointment applications online. Access to online applications is restricted. 

MSONet requires that you enter your E-Mail address and the special password you were assigned by UCSD Medical Staff Administration. 

BEFORE you enter the MSONet Website:  Review the Medical Staff Bylaws on the Risk Management intranet.

STEP 2:  AFTER you enter the MSONet Website:

  • Click on the Application Forms link.  On the Application Forms screen you will see a check list describing exactly what you need to do to complete your application on-line.
  • If you want to return to the application later, click the Save button to save your work.
  • If you do not want to save any information, exit the application.
  • When you have completed the application:
    • Print the application.
    • Scroll to the end of the document and click the Submit button.
  • IMPORTANT:  In addition to submitting the online application, a Signed copy of the completed application with supporting documents, privilege form(s) and medical staff fee must be sent to Medical Staff Administration at 200 W. Arbor, #8821, San Diego, CA 92103-8821. 
  • You may also click on the Transfer Files link to send documents and images such as your CV, photo and copies of license registrations
