Owen Clinic is proud to announce the start of a new program…SPLASH! SPLASH stands for Supporting Positive Living and Sexual Health. SPLASH will provide patients with support for making behavior changes. Dan Uhler and Julio Gomez, our Sexual Health Counselors, will facilitate the program. This new program offers patients the opportunity to participate in 5 counseling sessions, which will guide them through a behavior change process on a self-identified risk reduction goal. Owen Clinic offers free one-on-one smoking cessation counseling. Break the habit. For more information call Lorenzo Herman at 543-2680.
The Owen Clinic provides a regular Adherence Counseling. Patients learn how to make taking their medications easier, how to fit their medications into their busy schedule, and get their specific questions answered. Ask your provider for a referral to Owen Clinic's Adherence Counselor.
Our Patient Advisory Meetings are held quarterly. The next meeting will be on January 26, 2006 at noon. The meetings are held in the first floor conference room of the ACC building (4168 Front Street) This is an opportunity for patients to meet with the Owen Clinic staff, share concerns, and give feedback. Lunch is provided.
