Psychiatry and Behavioral Health Services

The Department of Psychiatry directs and operates a full spectrum of proven state-of-the-art evaluative and therapeutic clinical services, and in 2011 was ranked #19 in the nation by US News and World Report. Our psychiatric services include both outpatient and inpatient services for adults, seniors, adolescents and children.

The department has a strong commitment to understanding an individual's current social context and feelings, and past behaviors and experiences. It is our conviction that clinical psychiatry can only be learned in the context of meaningful interactions with our patients.
