Pediatric Urology

UC San Diego Health System’s pediatric urology program at Rady Children’s Hospital is consistently ranked as a top national pediatric urology program by U.S. News & World Report. We provide comprehensive care to children with genitourinary disorders and injuries from birth to young adulthood. These varied conditions are managed with advanced medical and surgical regimens.

Our team is dedicated to improving the health of your child through UC San Diego Health System's clinical and research expertise. Our pediatric urologists have joint appointments at Rady Children’s Hospital-San Diego. Our team of five board-certified pediatric urologists and two nurse practitioners sees over 800 children a month. We also have satellite clinics in Murietta, Encinitas, Escondido and Oceanside.

We are highly skilled in the full breadth of pediatric urological conditions, including:

  • Bladder and cloacal exstrophy
  • Disorders of the genitalia
  • Enuresis (bedwetting)
