Primary Care Physicians Currently Accepting New Patients

If you are looking for a UC San Diego primary care physician (PCP), please use the reference list below to find one who is currently accepting new patients. More information about the physicians is available by clicking on their names.

When you choose a PCP, you may select a family medicine physician or an internal medicine physician.

• Family medicine providers see patients of all ages, including children and can manage prenatal and newborn care
• Internal medicine providers specialize in adult care - caring for patients 18 and older

To enroll with any provider you will the physician's group number and site code. Aetna, Blue Cross, Cigna and United Healthcare (formerly known as PacifiCare) each has one group number and one site code. You can find these below.

Health Net HMO members use group No. 0027 and the individual provider's identification number listed next to the physician's name.
