Volunteer Orientation Information
Thank you for your interest in volunteering with UC San Diego Health System!
Your first step to volunteering for the Medical Center is always to attend an orientation.
The date for our next orientation has not yet been established, but it will probably be held in late August or early September, with the specific date posted on the web site about a month beforehand
- As soon as the date for the orientation is on the web site, we will give instructions on how to apply for a reservation
- Registration will be open for approximately three weeks after the date is posted
- No reservations or applications are accepted until the date is posted on the web site

Directions/Parking
UC San Diego Medical Center in Hillcrest
- Review the map to help guide you to UC San Diego Medical Center, 200 West Arbor Drive, San Diego. The auditorium is located in the northwest corner of the Medical Center's main building – follow the yellow signs.
- Park in the Arbor Dr. parking structure, in the visitor section. You will be responsible for the parking fee. Please allow ample time to find parking.
Moores Cancer Center
- Review the map to help guide you to Moores Cancer Center, 3855 Health Sciences Drive, La Jolla. The auditorium is located on the second floor – follow the yellow signs.
- Park in the visitor parking areas. You will be responsible for the parking fee. Please allow ample time to find parking.

- Bring a pen to the orientation and please be on time.
