The major fundraising event for the Bannister Family House is an annual golf tournament. If you would like to help as an underwriter, golfer, volunteer or donor of items to the silent and live auctions, please contact the manager at (619) 543-7977.
Coming home to a meal provided by a caring community group, or individual, really brightens the day and lessens the load for guest families. It is also through these meals that families have a chance to connect and share their feelings and concerns with others staying at the House. Meals may be prepared in advance or cooked at the House by you and/or your volunteer group. If you are interested in cooking a meal for guests, please contact the Manager at (619) 543-7977.
Donations
If you are interested in making a monetary contribution to the mission of the Bannister Family House, you may donate with cash, check or credit card (Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express accepted) in any amount. Donations may be designated in honor of or in memory of a specific individual and acknowledgement will be sent to the person or family.
You may designate your donation toward a specific purchase in person or in writing. If you would like to make a donation to directly assist a less fortunate family, ask the Manager for information on our "Adopt-A-Family" program. 
Bannister Family House volunteers are recruited through the Volunteer Services Department at UCSD Medical Center. If you know someone who may be interested in becoming a volunteer at the Bannister Family House, please call the manager at (619) 543-7977.
