Cancer Clinical Trials

Cancer patients who turn to the Moores Cancer Center for consultation or treatment, can do so knowing that access is available to the most promising therapies and advanced technologies.

Research studies that require the participation of patients are called clinical trials, and conducting these studies in the past have contributed to today's standard cancer treatments.

When cancer is first diagnosed or treatment decisions are being made, it is often hard to understand or remember complex medical explanations. Our 'Frequently Asked Questions' -- or FAQs -- is a supplement to information provided by your doctor, and is written for you and your family and friends, to assist in making an informed decision about entering a trial.

Excellent patient care is available at Moores Cancer Center, regardless of whether you choose to take part in a clinical trial or receive a standard treatment. The decision to enter a clinical trial is always up to you.
