Are You a Candidate for HIPEC?

A clinical consultation with Dr. Andrew Lowy at the Moores UCSD Cancer Center is an opportunity to evaluate your medical history and condition and to discuss the available treatments appropriate for you. The following information will be necessary for us to determine if HIPEC is right for you. Please plan to bring these to your initial consultation.

  • Most recent history and physical
  • Recent CT scan films and reports (abdomen, pelvis and chest, originals or on CD)
  • Recent PET Scan
  • Pathology slides and pathology report
  • Most recent blood work including tumor markers: CEA, CA19-9, CA125
  • Operative notes from previous surgeries
  • Summary of all chemotherapy treatment regimes
