The Moores UCSD Cancer Center's urologic cancer specialists offers patients leading-edge approaches to the diagnosis and treatment of urologic cancers and other genitourinary diseases.

Urologic cancers include prostate, bladder, testicular, renal (kidney), urethral, ureteral and penile cancers. 

Because urologic cancers often require a variety of treatments, we use a multi-disciplinary -- or team -- approach involving urologic surgeons, medical oncologists and radiation oncologists.  This team of doctors utilizes state-of–the-art techniques and medical protocols in the care of patients with all types of urologic cancers.

We strive for excellence at all levels of care and remains at the forefront of research involving the diagnosis (enzyme assays), treatment (gene therapy experimentation) and prognosis (biological marker assays) for genitourinary diseases.
