Jacobs Medical Center Hospitals
The UC San Diego Jacobs Medical Center will be a 10-story, 509,500-square-foot addition to UC San Diego Health System’s La Jolla campus, initially adding approximately 161 inpatient beds. It will include four hospitals in one location, the existing Thornton Hospital plus three new specialty hospitals:
Most importantly and by design, the building centers on the patient experience, reflecting each of these institutes and integrating views of both nature and the spectacular La Jolla scenery.
