Method: Mechanical endpoint clotting using a reagent preparation of silica, kaolin, and phospholipid
Special Instructions: Use the Hemochron Jr Signature + analyzer and Hemochron Jr ACT + cuvettes. Refer to the procedure "Hemochron Jr. Signature + Activated Clotting Time (ACT) Test" located at the patient care area site. If unable to perform the test, notify Laboratory POC.  During an emergency, you may obtain a replacement instrument from another testing site.
