Method: Dual Detergent/Coloremetric
Special Instructions: See lipid panel. Twelve hour fast recommended. Effective 8/1/01 LDL is an assayed analyte. Prior to 8/1/01LDL was a calculated value based on the patient's cholesterol, triglyceride and HDL results. The normal range prior to 8/1/01 was 62-185 mg/dL. Due to assay interference, LDL results are not reported if the triglycerides are >1292 mg/dL.
