marrow team member. Bone Marrow Service at Hillcrest is (32250) or (36020) the
bone marrow specialist may also be reached on pager# 619-290-5370. For Thornton
they can be reached at (858-657-6595). The Bone Marrow Service is NOT A STAT
SERVICE and NEEDS TO BE SCHEDULED in advance. Bone marrow procedures include
the clot section, aspirate, and biopsy specimens. Other bone marrow procedures
are available upon request: Cytogenetics (Chromosome analysis, or BCR-ABL) cultures
(AFB, viral, fungal, bacterial), Flow Cytometry (surface markers) short tandem
repeats, histochemical staining, iron staining. |
