Special Instructions: Do not allow swabs to dry out. Do not put specimen in refrigerator. Do not collect urethral specimens until at least one hour after urinating. If Group B strep is the only test needed, indicate on request. If genital culture is selected the sample will be processed to look for all pathogens including Gonococcus and Group B strep.
