  or: Sterile Trap (Lukens-Trap)
  NOT ACCEPTABLE:  Sputum Swabs

Ideal sample: 5 mL
Absolute minimum amount: 2 mL
Method of collection: Expectorated or induced sample (not saliva)
Transportation: Deliver to Laboratory within 1-2 hours. Delayed samples should remain at room temperature.
Label instructions: All containers must be labeled with patient name and medical record number.
