Method of collection: Aspirate, swab, biopsy, scraping - immerse swabs in saline.
Transportation: Transport to the Microbiology Laboratory immediately.
Label instructions: All containers must be labeled with patient name and medical record number.
The following substances can adversely affect the results: Bacteristatic Saline
