Special Instructions: Use the Hemocue Hemoglobin photometer and Hemocue microcuvettes. Refer to the procedure "Hemocue HB201 DM for Whole Blood Hemoglobin Testing" located at the patient care area site. If unable to perform the test notify Laboratory POC.   During an emergency, you may obtain replacement instrument from another testing site.
