University of California, San Diego School of Medicine – Office of Graduate Medical Education - The University of California, San Diego School of Medicine offers 53 ACGME accredited Residency programs and 2 combined residency programs for a total of 55 programs with 614 intern, resident and fellow trainees in the 2005-2006 academic year. UCSD also offers training to another 111 trainees in approximately 30 fellowship programs for which accreditation is not currently available.
