Daniel Davis, MD
Dr. Daniel Davis is the founder of our award-winning resuscitation training program, otherwise known as ART. Dr. Davis is adjunct professor in the department of Emergency Medicine at UC San Diego, medical director for six air medical bases in Southern California and scientific adviser to Air Methods Corporation, the largest air medical provider in the world. He is the founder of Medical X Technologies.
Clinical Nurse Specialist
Patty Graham is a clinical nurse specialist in critical care at UC San Diego. She was intricately involved in the creation of ART and continues to teach ART/BART. Her interests include neurocritical care, palliative medicine and resuscitation.
Anushirvan Minokadeh, MD
Associate Director, CRS
Dr. Anushirvan Minokadeh is the director of the UC San Diego Center for Resuscitation Science. He is an associate clinical professor and vice chairman of critical care in the department of Anesthesiology at UC San Diego School of Medicine. His research interests include liver failure and liver transplantation, cardiac arrest, and mechanical ventilation.
Rebecca Sell, MD
Dr. Rebecca Sell is an assistant professor in the division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine and the associate program director for the internal medicine residency program at UC San Diego. She currently serves as Medical Director of Resuscitation and Code Blue Committee Chairperson.
Christopher (Kit) Tainter, MD
Dr. Tainter is an assistant professor in the Department of Emergency Medicine as well as Anesthesia Critical Care. He received his medical degree from the University of Washington, completed residency training in Emergency Medicine at The Mount Sinai Hospital in New York, and a fellowship in Anesthesia Critical Care at Massachusetts General Hospital. His professional areas of interest include resuscitation, education, and point-of-care ultrasound.
Daniel Crouch, MD
Dr. Crouch is an assistant professor in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine. His interests include obstructive lung disease, medical education and resuscitation and he has received several teaching awards.
ART/BART Critical Care RN Instructors
Sheri is a critical care nurse in the UC San Diego Hillcrest CCU. In addition to working bedside and as a Code Nurse, Sheri teaches ART/BART to a variety of practitioners , trains new code nurses, and leads just-in-time training sessions for medical residents.
Ruth is a critical care nurse in the UC San Diego Hillcrest CCU. In addition to working bedside and as a Code Nurse, Ruth teaches ART/BART with a focus on data analysis and continuous quality improvement.
Wayne is a critical care nurse in the UC San Diego Sulpizio CVC ICU. In addition to working bedside and as a Code Nurse, Wayne teaches ART/BART.
Halsey is a critical care nurse in the UC San Diego Thornton ICU. In addition to working bedside and as a Code Nurse, Halsey teaches ART/BART with a focus on data analysis and continuous quality improvement.
Emily is an emergency room nurse at UC San Diego Hillcrest. In addition to bedside nursing, Emily is actively involved in ED ART training and continuous quality improvement.
