CHECK IN INFORMATION:
PREPARATION FOR PROCEDURE:

Two Weeks(14 DAYS) before the test, you should stop taking:
-
antibiotics of any kind
-
proton pump inhibitors such as Prilosec, Protonix, Nexium, Aciphex, Prevacid
-
H2 blockers such as Zantac, Ranitidene, Tagamet, Cimetidene, Pepcid
-
Antacids such as Carafate, Maalox, Mylanta, Tums, Rolaids
-
Pepto - Bismol
-
Do not eat or drink anything for at least four hours before the test.

Please brush your teeth before the test, but not use mouth wash.

The test will take about 15 minutes to complete. You will blow into an air collection bag, then drink a lemon flavored drink.

After 15 minutes you will blow a second time in an air collection bag to complete the test.
-
You may drive yourself home before and after the test since no sedation is involved.
-
Allow ample time for parking and bring single dollar bills for self paying parking
