Meet the Program Administrator for Minimally Invasive Surgery

Christina Chickering

Christina Chickering is the Program Administrator for Minimally Invasive Surgery. In this role, she handles a variety of projects, including the scheduling of all surgeries and the management of clinical trials, research and clinical fellowships.

In addition, Christina works closely with patients on obtaining insurance authorizations, submitting and tracking all requests and keeping up with the policies and requirements of each insurance provider.

You’ll also see Christina at our weekly gastric banding seminars for prospective patients, presenting information on financing, insurance and scheduling.

Christina has worked with Dr. Horgan and the rest of the CTO team for the last year and a half. Previously, she worked at UCSD in both Internal Medicine and the Moores Cancer Center.
