Our Hillcrest MRI facility is located adjacent to UCSD Medical Center and offers patients an "MRI with a view." Patients entering the MRI suite will immediately notice the extra-large room and beautiful picture window overlooking Mission Valley and Mission Bay. This facility is equipped with a Siemens Symphony state-of-the-art MRI scanner. The Symphony MRI scanner was designed to make your procedure fast and worry-free. The Symphony MRI scanner provides the feeling of an "Open MRI" without compromising image quality and access to the latest imaging techniques. The Symphony MRI scanner offers a larger opening, shorter length, and is quieter than conventional scanners, thus reducing or eliminating anxiety, claustrophobia or patient weight limitations.

Our La Jolla MRI facility is located in UCSD's 120-bed John M. and Sally B. Thornton Hospital. Thornton Hospital has a very pleasant palm tree lined atrium and beautiful interior design. This facility is equipped with a Siemens Vision MRI scanner. The Vision is a traditional MRI scanner with a wide patient opening and powerful imaging capabilities. The Vision MRI scanner is equipped with ample ventilation, lighting and a closed circuit TV so that the technologist is always in full visual contact with the patient. The most important features of the Vision MRI scanner are the high quality images and advanced technology.
