The Clinical Nephrology and Hypertension Program involves the diagnosis and comprehensive management of patients with hypertension, renal disease, water and electrolyte disorders and renal and combined renal and pancreas transplantation.
In 2007, UCSD Medical Center was ranked 30th in the nation for the treatment of kidney diseases by U.S. News & World Report.
