Pharmacy Home Infusion Service (PHIS) |

UCSD Pharmacy Home Infusion Service (PHIS) provides parenteral therapies including total parenteral nutrition, fluid therapy, antibiotics and other intermittent infusions, pain therapy infusions, and chemotherapy for home patients. Enteral tube feeding may also be arranged through PHIS. The program provides patient education, medication preparation, supply management and clinical management. PHIS coordinates with the pharmacokinetics service, medical service, and home care agency to provide continuity of care for home infusion patients.

- After hours, weekends and holidays: Call UCSD Medical Center page operator at (619) 543-6737 and ask for Pharmacy Home Infusion Service on-call. A nurse or pharmacist is on call 24 hours a day.
