The Division of Vascular and Interventional Radiology provides a full spectrum of diagnostic angiographic studies along with vascular and nonvascular interventional procedures. We have recently installed one of the world’s first Insightec Exablate MR-guided focused ultrasound units at the Moores UCSD Cancer Center.

Along with an inpatient admitting interventional radiology service, the division has an IR outpatient clinic that performs a wide range of minimally invasive procedures.
