Interventional Radiology Clinic

The Interventional Radiology division has an active outpatient clinic and consulting service. Our facilities include state-of-the-art digital interventional suites equipped with ultrasound and fast helical CT scanners.

The procedures we offer include the following:

• Uterine artery embolization
• Cancer therapies including arterial chemoembolization and radiofrequency (RF) ablation for the treatment of liver cancer
• Transcatheter radioisotope and gene therapy for liver cancer
• Transjugular intrahepatic shunts for bleeding and acites
• Stent-grafts for aortic aneurysms
• Carotid angioplasty and stents
• Abscess management
• Hepatobiliary interventions
• Gastrointestinal and genitourinary interventions
• New treatments for varicose veins including endovenous laser
• Dialysis graft interventions
• Vascular access for dialysis, chemotherapy and antibiotics
• Venous interventions for pelvic congestion syndrome, superior vena cava syndrome and pulmonary vascular malformations
• IVC filters including retrievable filters
