The Ultrasound Division performs high-resolution diagnostic ultrasound procedures of the abdomen and pelvis, as well as neck, breast, scrotum and extremities. We also perform pulsed and color Doppler examinations of the abdominal and peripheral arterial and venous systems.
Additionally, the division provides diagnostic ultrasound for high-risk obstetric patients referred to the Center for Fetal Diagnosis and Treatment and for the California SAFP Screening Program. High-resolution gynecologic and breast ultrasound is provided by UCSD women’s health specialists.
