The Colorectal Surgery Service specializes in the management of colon and rectum disorders, including

• Anorectal disease (fissures, hemorrhoids, fistulas and abscesses, anal dysplasia) 
• Colorectal cancer and anal cancer  
• Benign colorectal disease (diverticulitis, colonic inertia, polyposis syndromes)
• Pelvic floor disorders (fecal incontinence, constipation, rectal prolapse, rectoceles)
• Inflammatory bowel disease (Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis)

Our surgical specialists perform the following procedures:

• J-pouch
• Resection of low-lying colon and rectal cancers (including sphincter-sparing procedures)
• Abdominoanal pullthroughs
• Transanal resections
• Minimally invasive procedures (colorectal laparoscopy, colonoscopy)
• Colostomy and ileostomy for stomas
