Our surgical oncologists are fighting GI cancers in advanced and aggressive ways. At UC San Diego Health System, you have access to clinical trials to assess new cancer treatment regimens via the fully integrated translational oncology program.
The bariatric surgery team at UC San Diego Bariatric and Metabolic Institute offers sleeve gastrectomy, gastric banding, gastric bypass, revisional bypass and gastric plication. Our advanced surgical procedures are changing the course of metabolic syndrome, type 2 diabetes and obesity.
