Urologists treat the reproductive tract in men and problems of the urinary tract in both men and women. We collaborate with primary care doctors, gynecologists, and other specialists as necessary to address all aspects of a patient’s disease or injury. 

The team of UCSD urologists is led by Dr. Christopher J. Kane, a leading physician and researcher in prostate cancer and an expert in robotic and other minimally invasive urologic surgery. Dr. Kane is internationally recognized for his patient care and research in prostate cancer, renal cell carcinoma, and minimally invasive surgical treatment of urologic diseases and disorders.
