Volunteer assignments may include a combination of clinical and administrative tasks.
Clinical Tasks
- Run errands to labs, pharmacy and other areas.
- Transport and escort patients (using wheelchair).
- Assist staff with patients (feeding, turning, ambulating).
- Read to and visit with patients.
Administrative Tasks
- Filing.
- Answer phones, take messages.
- Computer data entry.
- Organize patient charts.
- Organize patient information materials.
- Photocopying.
- Clean equipment.
- Organize supplies.
