These physicians have combined their expertise to provide patients with a comprehensive, multi-disciplinary approach to the treatment of urinary incontinence and pelvic prolapse. In addition, they have developed a multidisciplinary fellowship training program to train the future generation of physicians and surgeons to treat patients with pelvic floor conditions. The unique three-year training program is one of a select group of fellowships nationwide that has received accreditation by both the Board of Urology and the Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. For patients, this provides an additional layer of trust and confidence that UCSD offers the region's most experienced and comprehensive team to diagnose and treat these socially isolating conditions.
