The road to recovery for many patients and their family members is often filled with fears and uncertainty.
Providing patients with a level normalcy is an important element in the healing process. Healing Baskets, located at each nursing station throughout the Medical Center, help to facilitate this process.
Healing Baskets contain a variety of comforting and healing items to nurture a patient's physical and spiritual well-being. Patients may select items from Healing Baskets for personal use, including:
- Massage lotion
- Massager
- Aromatherapy oil
- Cotton pads
- Care notes
- Guidepost
- Our Daily Bread
- Holy Bible
- Jewish Prayer Book
- Koran
- Rosaries
- Classical meditation CD *
- Audio cassettes *
- Video tapes *
* Audio, video and electronic items are lending-use only items. All other items may be retained by the patient.
