We have partnered with yoga studios throughout the various neighborhoods of San Diego to offer our community more information for those who seek to start bringing mindful movement into their life, or to simply enhance an ongoing practice. Each of the following studios offers a unique environment with various styles of yoga for the many populations with diverse needs we support at the Center for Mindfulness.

Yoga Six studios offer hot, set-sequence flows steeped in the classical yoga tradition, vinyasa yoga, specialty yoga classes, and fitness classes – at a variety of levels. True, beginner-friendly classes and programs support newer students in their yoga journey. Advanced classes for experienced yogis and additional offerings like Yoga Teacher Training, specialty workshops, and seasonal programs provide opportunities for continued education, and personal development.

In a nutshell, we are a vinyasa yoga studio in the Gaslamp Quarter/Marina District, in San Diego. Our concept is simple, eco-friendly, and centered around yoga. We focus on teaching yoga, building community, and inspiring you to live a healthy, happy, and fulfilling life. We have a small boutique where you can get the basics for your practice: yoga mats, mat bags, mat towels, hand towels, water bottles, and some yoga apparel.

As lightly heated yoga studio, BRY primarily offers classes in the Vinyasa, or flowing style of Hatha yoga, which synchronizes movement with breath. Presenting a well-balanced yoga practice that develops strength, balance and flexibility.

Hapa Yoga is San Diego's best yoga studio that offers child care. We are located conveniently off of the 8 freeway and Mission Gorge exit. Our amenities include locker room with showers, retail lounge, and large parking lot in the back of the studio. Hapa Yoga has 2 practice rooms allowing flexibility and variety in our class schedule. Our Restorative and Yin classes offer a relaxing experience. If you are looking for more of a challenging class, Ashtanga or Power Yoga may be for you. If you have weight loss or sculpting goals, we offer Zumba, Barre, Pilates, and boot camp classes. Our instructors and staff are compassionate and loving. We hope you become part of the Hapa Ohana.

Our mission is to help people enjoy healthier, happier lives. Since opening our doors in May of 2002, Yoga One has been voted “Best Yoga” in San Diego nine years. To serve the diverse needs of San Diego’s residents, businesses and schools, Yoga One offers instruction in a variety of styles and levels of yoga including: Flow (Vinyasa), Yoga Basics, Gentle & Restorative Yoga, Yoga for Healthy Backs, Iyengar & Classic Yoga, Kids’ Yoga, Prenatal Yoga, Meditation, outdoor classes, various workshops and 200-hour yoga teacher training courses. Our community is welcoming and our classes are non-competitive, led by experienced instructors who teach optimal alignment and conscious breathing, as well as mindfulness, strength and balance - on and off the yoga mat.

Family Centered, Heart-Centered, Hatha Mindfulness Practices
Located in North San Diego County, Yoga Jai Ma serves the diverse needs of our community. Yoga Jai Ma offers many different styles of yoga including Hatha, Vinyasa Flow, Restorative Yoga (Restoreiki), Yoga for Backs and Gentle Yoga. We offer a variety of family based classes including prenatal yoga, baby and me, kids yoga and yoga for seniors. All classes work to strengthen the mind, body and spirit.
We aim to offer heart-centered and non-competitive classes and believe anyone coming to our studio will find a class that suits their needs. We seek to include mindfulness practices in the majority of our classes. Many of our instructors are skilled in alternative healing arts and offer additional modalities to promote health and wellness. These include mediation techniques, Reiki and pranayama practices (yoga breathing exercises cultivating energy in the body). We look forward to welcoming you to our studio and sharing yoga with you!
Weekly Classes in Point Loma and Central San Diego
Awareness-based, Insightful, Empowering
Mindful Fitness offers individual and group fitness programs that integrate mind-body principles with purposeful physical exercise to help clients experience greater insight and awareness. The wisdom that comes from a mindfulness-based approach empowers clients to make healthier choices for overall well-being. Whether walking, bicycling, strength training, practicing yoga or any other movement expression, clients benefit from safer, more effective and more enriching fitness experiences. Weekly classes include yoga, meditation, outdoor group strength training, and a combo walking/circuit training class. Personal training, mindful day retreats, and Inspired Tours are also offered. A moderate –intensity approach is emphasized in fitness classes to ensure safety and promote enjoyment. Mindful Fitness was created in 1994 by Lisa Hampton, MS who instructs all classes. Lisa says, “I enjoy helping people discover their strengths and to shift their focus on all they can do. The energy of mindfulness is a powerful tool for transformation.”
