The physicians practicing at the Women’s Pelvic Medicine Center are board-certified and have advanced fellowship training in female pelvic floor disorders, including incontinence and prolapse.
Their clinical and research interests include urodynamics, voicing dysfunction, prolapse, accidental bowel leakage, and other pelvic floor disorders. They perform hundreds of major operations each year for incontinence or prolapse.
Michael Albo, MD
Dr. Albo completed his medical degree at the University of Utah, his urology residency at the University of Virginia, and his female urology fellowship at UCLA.
Marianna Alperin, MD, MS
Dr. Alperin completed her medical degree at St. Louis University, her OB/GYN residency through Harvard Medical School, and her fellowship in female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery at the University of Pittsburgh.
Charles Nager, MD
Dr. Nager completed his medical degree and OB/GYN residency at UC San Diego and his urogynecology fellowship at St. George’s Hospital in London.
Emily Lukacz, MD
Dr. Lukacz completed her medical degree at the University of Michigan, and her OB/GYN residency and urogynecology fellowship at UC San Diego.
Cindy Furey is a physical therapist who specializes in women's health and pelvic medicine. She is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association Section on Women's Health and Private Practice Section, the International Pelvic Pain Society, the National Vulvodynia Association, the Interstitial Cystitis Association and the Vulvar Pain Foundation.
