Awards and Achievements

  • Our cancer services were ranked among the top 50 in the nation by U.S. News & World Report in its 2017-18 "Best Hospitals" survey, which recognized UC San Diego Health as the top adult hospital in San Diego.
  • We are named one of "100 Hospitals and Health Systems with Great Oncology Programs" for 2017 in Becker's Hospital Review.

Commission on Cancer Quality of Care Measures

UC San Diego Health's cancer program is accredited by the Commission on Cancer (CoC) of the American College of Surgeons (ACoS), which collects standardized data from CoC-accredited health care settings to measure cancer care quality. The CoC sets quality of care measures for breast and colorectal cancer.
