Diabetes Nonprofit Resources

There are many nonprofit organizations devoted to increasing awareness, funding research, and improving resources for those living with diabetes.

These include:

ADA helps fund research to cure, manage and prevent diabetes. They lead the fight against diabetes by delivering services and objective and credible information to hundreds of communities around the country.

Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF)
JDRF is the only global organization with a plan to improve, prevent and possibly cure type 1 diabetes. They are currently funding more than 50 human clinical trials, and sponsoring $568 million in scientific research across 17 countries. JDRF is an accredited BBB Charity Seal holder.

Taking Control of Your Diabetes (TCOYD)
TCOYD motivates people to be proactive about their condition through education for the patient, as well as for the medical professionals who are caring for those with diabetes.
