Hemophilia Wellness Programs

​Exercise and recreation can benefit people with hemophlia both physicially and mentally. We have designed programs that are fun and safe. See the schedule of activities below, including rock climbing, aquatics and family hikes.

2017 Schedule

Indoor Rock Climbing

Our indoor rock climbing program takes place weekly at the Mesa Rim Gym in Mira Mesa. Perfect for beginners, our instructors will create personalized adaptive goals for each patient climber. Join us every Wednesday from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.!

Aquatics Classes

Join us for aquatics class in La Jolla every Wednesday starting June 7 through July 12 from 6 to 7 p.m. at the UC San Diego Canyonview Pool. These low impact adaptive exercise activities are great for joint mobility and present a an opportunity to stay active while reducing the risk of injury.

Family Hikes

This free event was designed by our team to engage patients, family and friends. This morning hike event will be a fun and interactive physical activity, which will gently challenge your musculoskeletal and cardiovascular system.
