Supported by the National Institutes of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases (NIDDKD), our physician-scientists are part of
one of only seven federally funded centers in the country dedicated to making state-of-the-art technologies and resources available for researchers who are investigating areas related to kidney disease.
Part of our effort includes finding genetic factors for early detection, expansion of the international kidney transplant registry, and a study defining the genetic basis of ongoing drug-induced kidney injury.
We provide services for patients with kidney disease, including diagnosis and management of kidney diseases and medical management of renal transplantation.
