Big Smiles for the Small Patients- Santa Visits  UC San Diego Medical Center

With high spirits and happy faces Santa Claus and his team of elves visited the Infant Special Care Unit and the Regional Burn Center at UC San Diego Medical Center, Hillcrest. 

Sponsored by the UC San Diego Staff Association, Santa delivered toys, took pictures with the babies and children, and spent time with their parents.  Staff Association elves handed out candy canes to families and UC San Diego employees.

Every year, for more than three decades, the UC San Diego Staff Association has collected toys for ill and hospitalized children throughout the community.  Hundreds of toys are collected and delivered to seven community organizations, including UC San Diego Medical Center.
