CANCER, COOKING AND NUTRITION, April & May Classes

UCSD Moores Cancer Center presents free cooking classes with nutrition expert Vicky Newman, R.D. “Stealth Health—Recipes with Surprise Ingredients” is scheduled on Thursday, April 17, 11:30-1:00 PM and 6:00-7:30 p.m.; Monday, April 21, 6:00-7:30 p.m.; and Tuesday, April 22, at 11:30-1:00 p.m. and 6:00-7:30 p.m.  In May, “The Big Frame Up—Confused about Calcium?” is scheduled for Tuesday, May 6, 6:00-7:30 p.m.; Wednesday, May 7, 11:30-1:00 p.m. and 6:00-7:30 p.m.; and Thursday, May 22, 11:30-1:00 p.m. and 6:00-7:30 p.m.

Both classes, for patients and family members, will take place at the Moores UCSD Cancer Center, 3855 Health Sciences Drive, La Jolla.  Reservations: 858-822-2236 or healthyeating@ucsd.edu.
