Lab Services

UC San Diego Health labs offer a wide variety of services, including blood draws, sample collection and glucose tolerance testing.

In most cases, your health care provider will order your lab test in advance.

Appointments Required at Some Locations

Please note that some locations require appointments and cannot accommodate walk-in patients. See the list below for details.

• Glucose tolerance testing: This test always requires an appointment and is limited to certain locations. To schedule, please call 800-926-8273.
• Specimen drop-offs: Specimens collected at home can be dropped off at any location below during normal business hours. An appointment is required at certain locations. For questions about specimen collection, please contact your provider's office.
