Services for Children and Teens

You'll find a full range of services to address your child's needs.

Comprehensive Evaluations

Families receive a detailed psychological, psychiatric and medical assessment that helps to ensure their child or teen is accurately diagnosed. An accurate evaluation is a cornerstone of an effective, personalized treatment plan.

Therapy

We offer individual, family and group therapy. Family therapy may be appropriate if the focus of treatment is on the whole family. Group therapy offers another opportunity to build and practice skills.

Medication Management

The decision to use medication to treat a child's condition can be a difficult one. Look to us to help you weigh the pros and cons of different medications.

Treatment of Co-Occurring Medical Conditions

Your child may have more than one medical condition. When this is the case, your child's care plan treats their co-occurring conditions with a whole person care approach.

Coordination of Care

We can help communicate your child's needs with teachers and medical specialists who may be important in your child's life.

Behavioral Health Plans Accepted

We accept behavioral health insurance and most insurance plans that are offered to UC San Diego Health employees. You're encouraged to verify that UC San Diego Health is an in-network provider.
