Your Safety is Our Top Priority

We know you may be concerned about the outbreak of novel coronavirus (COVID-19) and its implications for the health of you and your loved ones. Your safety and well-being are our top priority. Here's what you should know:

COVID-19 Nurse Line

If you are a UC San Diego Health patient with fever or respiratory symptoms, call our dedicated COVID-19 nurse line – 800-926-8273 – between 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. any day to discuss your symptoms BEFORE coming to any hospital or clinic. Do not walk in or schedule an appointment online. Get the details.

  • Our hospitals and clinics remain open, and you should feel confident in using UC San Diego Health services.
  • We have implemented new restrictions on visitors at our hospitals and clinics to reduce health risks for everyone. We are screening all visitors and patients for COVID-19-related respiratory symptoms – including fever, new cough, new shortness of breath, and/or a persistent scratchy throat – before they enter a facility.
  • We are accepting donations to help us address this emergency. See how you can help.
  • Read our message to patients.
