A: Express Care provides convenient same-day or next-day care for minor injuries or illnesses. If you can’t get in to see your primary care provider, use our Express Care services. You can save your spot online. Learn more.

A: Call 911 or go to the nearest Emergency Department. Our ER locations in San Diego County are open 24 hours every day.

A: Our experienced Express Care providers can treat coughs, colds, flu, stomachaches and many other minor illnesses and injuries. Learn more.

A: Patients ages 6 months and older are welcome at Express Care.

A: We offer testing for many conditions. You'll get the results before you leave the clinic for the following:

• Blood sugar (fingertip)
• Flu
• Pregnancy (urine test)
• Strep throat
• COVID-19 (rapid test)
• RSV (rapid test)
• Urinalysis

A: Yes. You can pay with your health insurance plan or use cash pay at our Express Care clinics. We do not accept USHIP student health insurance or Medi-Cal. Co-pays for visits are typically the same as that for a clinic appointment and must be paid while checking in. You may also be able to use your employer-provided flexible spending account (FSA) or health savings account (HSA) to pay for Express Care. Check with your plan.

A: On-site X-ray service is not available at our Vista location. If you need an X-ray, please visit our other Express Care clinics in Rancho Bernardo, Pacific Highlands Ranch/Carmel Valley or Encinitas.

A: We offer extended weekday and weekend hours. We’re open 8 a.m. – 7 p.m. every day, except for some holidays.  

A: Yes, we do. You can schedule same-day or next-day video appointments for certain health conditions 7 days a week. Available for patients 18 years or older.
