Patient and Family Events at Moores Cancer Center

Moores Cancer Center offers numerous support groups, classes, and workshops. All events are open to the community. They include:

  • Support groups of many kinds, including those for patients, for caregivers, for Spanish speakers, and for children who have a parent who currently has cancer or who has died from cancer 
  • Education and support groups for specific cancer types
  • Mind and body classes, including adapted yoga, gentle Zumba, expressive arts, writing, and couples workshops
  • Informative classes for patients who are preparing for chemotherapy, radiation therapy, or blood and marrow transplant (BMT) 
  • Food demonstration and nutrition seminars from the Healing Foods Program
