Diet and Exercise for HIV-Positive Individuals

Eating healthy is important for everyone because our bodies use nutrients from food to stay healthy and feel good. Although there is no special diet for HIV+ individuals, it is extra important you eat well to boost your immune system. Also, if you are infected with HIV, your body has to work extremely hard to fight off infections. This extra work consumes more energy, which means you may need to eat more healthy food (calories) than you're used to.
